생활 필수 표현 - 024. 표현 - 시키는 대로 하다, 계획대로 하다, 늘 하던 대로 하다, 하라는 대로 하다, 배운대로 하다, 지시대로 하다

1.  설명대로 하다. 

  - follow the instructions : 설명대로 하다. 

    . I just followed the instructions (in the manual).   

    . I just followed the recipe. 

 

  - I did what it says in the manual.   :  그냥 설명서에 나와 있는 대로만 했어. 

     cf.) ~에 씌어 있을때 say 를 많이 사용함. 

         - What does it say on the cover?  : 표지에 뭐라고 (써) 있어? 

           It says...

 

   - I did it according to (the instructions in) the manual. 

 

 

2. 

1) 난 걔가 시킨 대로 했어 :

  - I did (exactly) what (s)he said[told me] . 

  - I did (exactly) what you said[told me (to)].

  - I followed her(your) instructions. 

  - I followed the instructions that my boss gave me. 

  - I did it[everything] according to what you said[told me].   --> 좀 더 formal 

 

2) 배운대로 하다 / 가르쳐준 대로 하다. 

  - Just remember what you learned. 

  - Just remember what I taught you. 

 

3) 늘 하던 대로 하다 / 늘 하는 대로 하다. : do what I have always done.

  - I did what I always do.

  - I did what I'd always done. 

  - I did what I've always done.  

  - I'll just do what I've done for the past[last] 2 weeks.

  - I'll just do what I've been doing for the past[last] 2 weeks.

  - I'll just do what I've been doing up to now. 

  

4) 그냥 원래 계획대로 하자. 

  - Let's just do what we were (originally) planning[going] to do. 

  - Let's just stick to our (original) plan.
