Expression Upgrade #11 - to name a few / to say the least / least of all

1. (just) to name a few : ~말고도 더 있어요

  - I love traveling Southeast Asia. I've been to the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia (just) to name a few. I think Thailand was my favorite. 

  - I've tried many different diets - Atkins, Keto, intermittent fasting (just) to name a few. For me, intermittent fasting was the hardest. 

 

2. to say the least : 그냥 ...한 정도가 아니었어 (가장 약하게 말한 거야)

  - The show started off really well, But around halfway through the second season, it got really weired to say the least. Towards the end, it actually felt like a completely different show.  (...그냥 이상한 정도가 아니었어)

  - Hod did you parents react[take it]?   They were shocked to say the least.  (...놀란 정도도 아니었지.)

  - My mom's test cam back negative. So I'm very relieved to say the least. (.. 안도가 되는 정도도 아니었지.)

 

3. least of all (s/o, s/t, ...) : (주로 부정문에 사용) - 특히 ~가 아닌 = "expecially not"보다 더 강조

  - I try to backup all the files on my computer as often as I can because I don't want to lost anything, least of all my lesson videos.  (... 난 아무것도 잃고 싶지 않아. 특히 내 강의 동영상은 더욱...)

  - She was very proactive at work but nobody really shared her energey, least of all her boss.

 

ex)

  - I can handle several kinds of progammable languages. Fortran, Basic, R, Python, just to name of few

  - I'm just going to name of few different countries in america continent, Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil.

  - How was the band's concert? It was fantastic to say the least. 

  - Did you see the movie las night? Yeah, it was terrible to say the least

  - I'm not good at playing baseball, least of all basketball. 

  - I couldn't speack English, least of all French. 

  - He wasn't punctual, least of all patient.
