. He really wanted to lean English quickly. But he always watches youtube and TV in his native language. He didn’t try to listen in English. It was really heading south.

. She dumped me. But I don’t think I can get over her.

. Yesterday, she dumped me. Today, she came around and said to me that she loves me.
 
8 Keep one’s chin up To remain cheerful in a difficult situation
. I got canned today.  // really? Oh, my…. But, don’t worry. Keep your chin up. I hope you get a better job soon.
 
9 Plenty of fish in the sea A lot of choices of people to date
. She dumped me yesterday.  // OMG! Just get over her. There are plenty of fish in the sea. You can meet better women soon.
