. I have a secret. Do you want me to tell you about it?  // of course, I’m all ears.
. I popped the question to her.  // What? Then? Tell me about it. I’m all ears.
 
3 Ace a test To get an “A” as a test score
. I aced my math test!  // Way to go!
. She buckled down and hit the books. Eventually, she aced all test.
 
4 Be on pins and needles To be very nervous : 가시방석에 있다.

. When I meet the issue, I bucked down and tried to beat my brains out to solve it.

8 Take one’s time To go slowly
. Take your time. The due date is next Monday.
. How could you solve the problem?  // I took my time and thought about it.
 
9 Someone’s treat When s/o pays for another person’s food at a restaurant : 한턱 쏠께
. Thanks for helping me. Let’s go for lunch. It’ll be my treat.
. Eat as you want. It’s my treat.
