1	That’s the way the cookie crumbles	Nothing you can do, that’s life, C’est la vie, “those are the breaks” . I was late for my job interview by just ONE NIMUTE! That was enough time for them to see someone else before me. He ended up getting the job instead of me. I guess that’s the way the cookie crumbles.   * crumbs = small broken pieces of food that we usually find on a plate, table or on the floor
2	That’s no laughing matter	Nothing to laugh about, a serious issue . His restaurant is about to go belly up and his employees don’t seem to care. This is no laughing matter! . He really enjoys skiing. But. Last year, he got an accident skiing on the mountain. It was no laughing matter for him. He was gone to emergency room near ski resort. .
3	To want/have nothing to do with s/o	하나도 관련이 없다. . Many American politicians were crazy about Trump in the beginning, but at the end of his presidency, they wanted nothing to do with him.                       They didn’t want to be associated with him. . The students threw a party for their classmate. I had no idea they were planning this.     I had nothing to do with it.      To have no responsibility in that matter
4	Dragon lady	A very mean, scary, nasty woman . I’m so happy to be moving to a new apartment. My landlord was a real dragon lady. I couldn’t stand her. . When my children don’t follow my instruction, I easily lose my temper and become a dragon boy.
5	Rolling in dough (playing in dough)	Making a bundle, rolling in $$$ . When my idea takes off, I think we’ll be rolling in dough!
6	To buy out	To buy complete control of a business : (타입, 권리 등을) 매수하다. . Tim Horton was a Canadian hockey player who started a small coffee shop business after his sports career ended in order to continue making a living. Nowadays, there are Tim Horton shops all over the country! They were recently bought out by Burger King, an American franchise.
7	To strike it rich	To become very rich : 일확천금을 하다 . Jeff Bezos struck it rich when he decided to open up a small bookstore on a shoestring budget out of his parents garage. What a dream comes true for that guy!   * from rags to riches : 무일푼에서 벼락부자로
